Nirma University scholarship 2024 is offered to deserving students on a merit and merit-cum-means basis. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college to avail of the scholarships. Nirma University Financial-Aid

Nirma University financial aids are offered in the form of loans and tuition fee waivers. The detailed information on the Nirma University financial aid are mentioned below:

• Interest Free Loan

Nirma University provides interest-free loans to students pursuing undergraduate courses at the university. The loan benefits are provided to 5% of the total intake of students with 100% reimbursement of interest on the loan for a family income up to INR 3 Lakhs, 50% reimbursement in case of family income not exceeding INR 5 Lakhs.

• Alumni Funded Scholarship

The Nirma Institute of Technology Alumni Association (NITAA) rewards meritorious students in need of financial assistance. Scholarships of INR 30,000 each, once a year, are provided to two students every year, subject to satisfying the merit criterion of maintaining a PPI of 7.5 and not getting a scholarship from any other agency.

• Exam Based Scholarships

Nirma University exam-based scholarships are offered to students pursuing PG courses. The first nine GATE-qualified students get INR 12,400 per month and all remaining students get INR 5000 per month.

Merit-Based Scholarships

The following are the conditions and details for availing of the Merit-Based Scholarships by the scholarship aspirants.

Conditions for Availing Merit-Based Scholarship

• The student's conduct was good throughout the previous year; the student should maintain merit and have a PPI of 7.0 or higher; and the student should have passed all courses of study in the previous year in the first attempt, except for the conditions listed below.
• Furthermore, if the student completes all of the courses, including any backlog, by the end of Year II, the remaining Nirma University scholarship from Year II, as well as the arrears in Year III, will be awarded.
• The student does not cheat in any of the Institution's or University's examinations.
• The student maintains full attendance, except for genuine absences for which the HOI's permission is sought, particularly in cases of illness.

Conditions for Availing Merit Cum Means Scholarship

• The number of Nirma University scholarships listed above is the maximum number available. It may fluctuate yearly based on the number of NRI seats filled each year.
• Depending on the actual admission of students in the Gujarat category for the given batch, the mentioned scheme would be adjusted correspondingly. However, the overall scholarship amount will not change.
• Such scholarships would not be available to Nirma University students admitted under the NRI, Persons of Indian Origin, Foreign Nationals, or Children of Indian Workers in Gulf–South–East Asian Countries categories.
• The President will have the authority to make any exceptions to the restrictions mentioned above. However, in a dispute over the interpretation of any clause, the President's judgment will be final.
