Infrastructure facilities at the National Institute of Technology, [NIT] Sikkim:

The campus provides all the basic requirements for s student. It has hostel facilities. Transportation services are also available to students. Recreation facilities for activities like sports are also provided.

Hostels:

The institute has residential facilities for all students.
Both boys and girls have been provided separate accommodation facilities in different hostels.
There are 3 hostels for girl students and 10 hostels for boys students within the campus.
Construction of two new hostels is going on within the campus, having a capacity of about 240 students.
Four students share an apartment consisting of two rooms, an attached toilet, and a balcony.

Transportation:

Separate transportation arrangements are made for both faculty and students.

Sports:

There is a football field in the institute with a proper lighting facility for playing football at night.
The campus has a well-equipped badminton court. The court is well lit and the students can also utilize them to play badminton throughout the nights. There is a separate badminton court dedicated only to the girls.
A separate facility is provided to play table tennis in the institution.
There is a volleyball ground and it is well lit too. The institute also has a separate ground dedicated only to the girls.
