NIT Patna Placements 2025: Highest & Average Salary Package, Top Companies

NIT Patna placement 2025 report has been released. The highest package offered during NIT Patna placements 2025 stood at ₹41.37 LPA, while the lowest package offered was ₹5 LPA. In total, 524 placement offers were made during the placement drive. The average package for UG students in 2025 was ₹9.9 LPA, whereas PG students secured an average package of ₹7.8 LPA. Additionally, over 100 recruiters participated in the campus placement process.

Compared to 2024, the overall NIT Patna highest package witnessed a decline of nearly 8%. On the other hand, the lowest package showed an improvement, increasing from ₹4 LPA in 2024 to ₹5 LPA in 2025. The total number of offers recorded in 2025 also saw a drop of around 15% compared to the previous year.

For PG 2-year engineering programs, the median package stood at ₹6.8 LPA, while 16% of students secured placements. In Architecture and Planning, the UG 5-year graduates secured a median package of ₹3.96 LPA in 2024, whereas PG 2-year graduates achieved a median package of ₹8 LPA.

For UG 4-year engineering programs, NIT Patna recorded a median package of ₹7 LPA in 2023–24, with 78% of students placed. A total of 591 students secured placements, while 51 graduates opted for higher studies. The median package was ₹9.88 LPA in 2022–23 and ₹10 LPA in 2021–22, indicating a gradual decline over the three-year period.

NIT Patna PG – 2 Year NIRF Placement Statistics (Engineering)

For PG 2-year engineering programs, the median package in 2023–24 stood at ₹6.8 LPA, with only 16% of students placed. In comparison, the median package was ₹7.8 LPA in 2022–23 and ₹6 LPA in 2021–22.

NIT Patna UG – 5 Year NIRF Placement Statistics (Architecture & Planning)

For UG 5-year Architecture and Planning programs, the median package in 2023–24 was ₹3.96 LPA, with 43% of students placed. The median salary was ₹4 LPA in 2022–23 and ₹6.5 LPA in 2021–22, showing a consistent decline over the years.
