NIT Goa Scholarship Details

National Institute of Technology, Goa, offers scholarships to eligible applicants. Scholarships are offered based on academic performance and economically disadvantaged students. Candidates must meet the eligibility conditions set by the college to avail of the scholarships. Further details about the NIT Goa scholarships are given below.

• Post Matric Scholarship for ST Students
• Financial Assistance to ST Students under Gagan Bharari Shiksha
• Merit-Based Scholarship for ST Students

Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students: The scholarship is only accessible for studies in India and is provided by the state government. National Institute of Technology Goa scholarship is available for post-matriculation or post-secondary courses in government-recognised institutions. Scholarships are available to students whose parents or guardians annual income does not exceed Rs. 2,50,000. Remember that the students must apply through the NSP portal for the post-matric scholarship scheme.

Financial Assistance to ST students under Gagan Bharari Shiksha: The financial support is offered to provide additional financial help to the ST students. ST students must have received or been considered for a centrally sponsored post-secondary scholarship during the current academic year. NIT Goa ST category students with an annual family income of less than Rs. 3,00,000 are eligible for the Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana.

Merit-Based Scholarship for ST Students: Merit-based award and acknowledgement of good performance in the board exams of SSC and HSSC whose annual family income is less than Rs. 5,00,000 per annum. Students who have obtained the 50% and above are eligible to apply for the NIT Goa scholarship. Fresh students, i.e. those enrolling for the first time in colleges/institutions, are requested to apply the specified form.
