It is a premier institute, offering BE Courses in 8 Branches (Civil, ECE, CSE, IT, EEE, EIE, Mechanical & Production) and 5 ME Courses (CAD/CAM, Structural Engg., Digital Systems, Computers & Power Electronics) of two years duration. Muffakham Jah College, Hyderabad Admissions for a B.Tech degree, the applicant must appear for EMACET, conducted by the state board, and for a B.Tech [Lateral] degree, the applicant must appear for ECET, conducted by the state board. The current intake of all BE Courses is 780, in addition to 102 students in ME Programmes. Research Centers have started in ECE Dept & Mech. Engg. for Doctoral Studies. All the courses are approved by the Osmania University, Government of Telangana, All India Council Of Technical Education (AICTE ), New Delhi and University of Grant Commission(UGC), New Delhi.100% of the seats are reserved for the Muslim Minority Community as the college obtained the minority status from the government of Telangana.

The college presently offers undergraduate courses in B.Tech with several specializations. Muffakham Jah College of Engineering & Technology offers a full-time B.Tech course of 4 years duration to the applicants with 8 specializations. Lateral Entry is also offered to the aspirants. Candidates seeking admission in Lateral Entry shall clear all the bridge courses as prescribed by University. T o be recognized as local, the candidate must have studied for five consecutive years in the state of Telangana from the preceding academic year. The intake for 2nd year through lateral entry scheme is 156.

The college offers a full-time B.Tech course of 4 years duration to the applicants with 5 specializations. Lateral Entry is also offered to the aspirants. The college offers the B.Tech program in five specializations. Seats to the 1st year B.E. course will be allotted based on performance in TS EAMCET and seats to the 2nd year B.E. course (lateral entry) will be allotted based on performance in the TS ECET examination.20% of the available seats for lateral entry will be allotted based on management quota. Candidates seeking admission through management quota are required to contact the college office directly.  The tuition fee per annum is 1,10,000/-.

The college presently offers postgraduate courses which are M.Tech and ME. The college offers M.E in various specializations. The mode of admission to the M.Tech program is based on Telangana State PGCET and GATE examination. MJCET offers the M.E. course under 4 specializations namely CAD/ CAM, Digital Systems, Structural Engineering, Power Electronic Systems, and M.Tech in Computer Science with an intake of 234 seats.

For admission to postgraduate programs candidates must fulfill the eligibility requirements as prescribed by the College. Candidates who have completed their Bachelor studies in the relevant fields of Engineering and Technology relevant fields of study are eligible to apply for the M.E. course. Seats to the M.E. course will be allotted based on candidates’ performance in the TS PGECET examination through the TS PGECET counseling process. The mode of admission to the M.Tech program is based on PGECET and GATE examination. The tuition fee for all M.Tech programs is INR 30,000 per annum.
