INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION
  • There is no hostel in Muffakham Jah College of Engineering & Technology.
  • Food is very good. There are two canteens for both Veg and nonvegetarian the rate is according to the dish you want to eat and it is reasonable.
  • There are smart classes, hi-tech labs, full of books in library and wifi enabled campus.

*there are good no of hostels around the college not so familiar with the hostel fee price *Don't know about the PG's *The food in the college is nice *Quality of classrooms and labs are excellent

1) No hostel. 2) they are good. Cost is around 5000 p.m 3) food is awesome. Pricing is average 4) infrastructure is very good.

Campus

The campus of MJCET is located at Banjara hills which are the most prime location in the city of Hyderabad. The campus is lush green throughout with greenery almost everywhere. The campus is divided into various buildings for different departments of engineering. Block 4 being the oldest, where the college was first started in 1980. The college campus also has a mosque for prayers. There are two canteens, vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

Classrooms

The college has 52 modern and multimedia equipped classrooms. 

Laboratories

The College has 91 laboratories in various departments, which are well equipped with modern equipment’s.

Computer Centre

The computer centre consists of 11 servers (Compaq, IBM and Wipro), 225 computers complemented by some of the latest software like Rational Rose, Macro Media Studio, Linux, etc.

Library

The library spread over an area of 1200 sq. mtrs. and has a reading room with a seating capacity of 168 students -

  • It has collection of 3185 project reports, 14900 titles, 5129 reference and 54128 volumes of books
  • It subscribes to 125 printed journals and magazines
  • The Library has purchased E-Lectures, 135 video lectures, 1925 books and journal CD ROMS and 120 web courses from NPTEL, IIT Madras
  • It provide access to the Digital Library having 25 IBM work stations

PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT & COMMUNICATION SKILLS

The Institute makes all out efforts to bring-out the hidden talents of the students and nourish in them leadership qualities, excellent communication skills and a developed personality, so that they grow up as professionals of global standards to flourish in professional career.

YOGA & MEDITATION

Holding of regular yoga sessions and meditation practices are also a feature to encourage students for developing their individual talent and health. This is also aimed at building their positive attitude and providing them relief from feelings of burden and disappointment, if any.

MULTI-GYM
The gym has latest equipments aided by trainers and physiotherapists for guided exercise for students and staff.


ANTI WOMEN HARASSMENT CELL

As made mandatory by law an anti women harassment cell is functioning in University with a senior professor as Chairperson and other senior faculty members as members. The Cell is empowered to look into all forms of harassment against women and recommend appropriate sanctions.


ANTI-RAGGING CELL

As per Hon'ble Supreme Court's judgement the institute ensures a ragging free environment both inside the academic premises and hostels. An anti-ragging cells under the Chairmanship of Prof. (Dr.) B.K. Sarap functions for the prevention of ragging in all its forms. Further, the Cell has senior faculty members as members who counsel the students to be aware of Hon'ble Supreme Court's judgement and how to abide by it.
