They do give placements for some students so long as their performance is good. From what I know, the placements are good. Some placements that were offered reported that they got around INR 30,000 - 40,000 per month on their first job itself.
I didn't take an entrance test, but you will probably need to have at least 60% on both your 10th and 12th-grade for admission. That score percentage itself can be the cutoff for any course you want to take.
The college gives a platform for students to engage in co-curricular events. Various inter-college competitions keep on happening on campus. The faculties are really helpful, cooperating, and understanding. The college timing is from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. The departments are very much particular about the projects and assignments. Mostly, particular deadlines are kept for all this. Classes happen regularly and Internal exams happen twice in a semester along with other smaller class tests. My overall experience in college is a good one. I got to do two internships which I had applies for and the college supported it with full conviction in me. Fests and events keep on happening to make the college one of the most interesting places fo go to and enjoy along with keeping in mind the academic performance as well.
The fee structure for all the courses stands at a reasonable place. The students get scholarships according to the percentage they have scored on their boards. Mostly maximum students get a certain percentage of scholarships depending on their performance in the respective boards.
Intending to deliver quality education, RCASC has a separate Training and placement cell which functions according to the needs of the students, acting as a channel of communication between them and the companies. Placement services are provided to all graduate and postgraduate students. Working in close coordination with major companies and working houses, the placement cell makes sure that the students are absorbed into relevant companies and industrial houses. Any student can also apply for a part-time or full-time internship under the campus technology application.
Once the board exams are over and the results are out, students can directly go to the college office or the official website for an application. The eligibility criteria for BA (Optional English, Psychology and Journalism) stands at the minimum pass percentage at the boards. The typical cutoffs vary each year according to the students who have applied. The last two years have seen cutoffs rise to 80% for admission.
