MIT ISBJ offers two courses under the Journalism and Mass Communication discipline. The courses have different eligibility criteria and selection procedures. The eligibility and admission procedure is mentioned below.

  • Candidate must have passed 10th and 12th from a recognized institute with 50% marks.
MA JMC
  • Candidate must have passed graduation with 40% from a recognized institute.

Candidate can visit the college website for the detailed admission procedure. For online admission, the candidate must go through the below-mentioned details: 

  • Online form for admission should be submitted on the official website.
  • Payment for online registration: Students can pay online through Credit Cards, Debit Cards and Net Banking.
  • The student will get the scheduled day and time through email, after registration.
  • On the scheduled date, the student has to visit the campus and appear for a General Knowledge/ Aptitude Test and an interview.
  • The results will be conveyed through an email.
  • Students who are selected for the said course have to pay the amount of INR 20,000/- [Non-Refundable] which needs to be paid immediately to confirm their admission (included in total fees).

  • Students are expected to keep their rooms clean and tidy failing which they will be fined heavily and the work will be undertaken by a cleaner.
  • Students shall not hang or stick posters on the walls, doors and windows of the rooms allotted to them.
  • The students shall not litter the corridors/verandas with any kind of waste or garbage.
  • Students should see to it that their room bathrooms and toilets should be kept clean and hygienic.
  • Students will not be allowed to go out of the hostel after 10:00 pm to 06:00 am without prior permission.
  • Students residing in the hostel shall maintain a homely atmosphere in the hostel.
