Entrance Exams & Admissions : Mar Athanasius College of engineering is the 4th best college that comes under Kerala technical university (KTU). Students are admitted to this institution based on their performance in Kerala entrance exam, ie; KEAM.Students get selected based on their ranks.It's not on first come first serve basis.An allotment procedure is set up which helps us to opt for our preferences.It's the students who can decide whether to join in the college allotted to them in the first allotment.But they are supposed to join in the college that they get in the second allotment.The students can then switch to other colleges based on upcoming allotments.It's not typical about the cutoff rank since it changes every year for every stream.The college offers education in mechanical, electrical, electronics, civil and computer science engineering.The college is well known for its eminent faculties and the campus recruitment.

Fees & Scholarships : Since the college is aided college, it's only necessary for the students to pay government fees which accounts nearly INR 9000 per annum.Several scholarships are offered for educational minorities and also for those who excel in studies.Almost every student who applies for scholarships gets any of it.

Academics & Faculty : Classes begin at 9 AM and end at 4 PM in the evening.There are 3 periods each of 1-hour duration before and after lunch.Teachers have a clear plan on what to teach and what not to.They help the students in inculcating new ideas that are essential for the present era.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 5 men's hostel and 1 ladies hostel.Hostels are maintained very neatly.College offers PG also for different courses.A well-managed mess ensures a good quality food for the students.The food cost may vary each month and costs nearly INR 2000.Classrooms, labs and libraries are well managed.

Clubs & Associations : There are several student societies which concentrate on improving students co-curricular activities.There is an association to prevent ragging.Students celebrate every one of the festivals without any discrimination.Life in the college is really enjoyable.
