The K.L.E. Society's K.L.E. College of Engineering and Technology has been established in the year 2008 with the sole objective of imparting quality technical education for rural youth. The College is located in the Taluka head-quarters of Chikodi of Belgaum District, about 70 km from Belgaum. The campus has a sprawling area of 16 acres at the foot of hillocks on the outskirts of the city.
The city of Chikodi has a strong educational base and enjoys salubrious climate throughout the year. The Institute is a self-financed non-minority college recognized by AICTE, New Delhi and Government of Karnataka.
It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, the technical state University of Karnataka. The institute has State-of-the-Art infrastructure and most modern facilities.
The Library has 12000 No. of volumes and 1200 total titles. Library has subscribed 30 national and 15 international journals. Digital Library has 10 PCs and 500 CDs. The reading room of the library has the capacity of 350 students.
The hostel facility is provided in the campus for both boys and girls separately.
lab is available for all departments in the college. Computer lab has 2 lab software lab-I and software lab-II. Civil Department lab has 200 Tones compression testing machines and
KLE College of Engineering and Technology placement has been good for the year 2021 despite the economic slowdown in India caused by the pandemic. The college has maintained an excellent record in terms of placement statistics for the past few years. Every year many reputed companies visit the campus of the college for the on-campus recruitment of students.
