In the field of pharmacy, Karpagam College of Pharmacy offers undergraduate, postgraduate, ph.D. programs. The following are the courses with their specializations:

M.Pharm Program

Pharm is a post-graduate degree that can be pursued in the relevant field by a graduate after completing an undergraduate degree. The duration of the M.Pharm course is two years, consisting of four semesters. This course deals with the analysis, testing, and research of disease drugs caused by the human body. There is a massive work scope for this course as there is a considerable demand for M.Pharm graduates. The modernization of the pharmaceutical industry has had an enormous impact on the growth of the medical sector.

Pharm.D Program 

The Doctor of Pharmacy acronym is Pharm.D. It is a postgraduate pre-Ph.D program equal to a doctoral degree. The duration of the Pharm.D course is six years, which includes one internship year. 12th-grade graduates (10+2) with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Mathematics or Biology are eligibility criteria for this course. B.Pharm graduates can also attend the Pharm.D course, and the duration of the time will be four years. Pharm.D graduates are the only pharmacy service in the health care system that is in direct contact with the patient.
