Students who wish to pursue Kalinga University M.Phil must fulfill the minimum eligibilty criteria as mentioned below. .

Educational Qualification	Required Eligibility
Completed Masters	Must have completed a master's degree from a recognized institution

Candidates should have completed a Masters's degree with 55% aggregate (50% in case of reserved category, physically handicapped) and must have cleared the entrance exam.
Candidates with NET/GATE/SLET/SET or equivalent and a regular teacher in a college/ University will be exempted from entrance test.
INR 10,000 is collected as Examination Fee including the evaluation and viva voce of a dissertation.

Merit Scholarships are given to students at Kalinga University.
Kalinga University Scholarships are given to students who have performed well in their class 12 board examinations.
