The choice filling process will remain open until February 19, 2026, while the seat allotment result will be announced on February 21, 2026. Kakatiya Medical College was inaugurated by the honourable Sri.P. Karmarkar, Minister of Health, Government of India, on 23 July 1959. 157 acres of land was acquired for the medical college in Warangal. Kakatiya Medical College has been recognised by the Medical Council of India. The medical college has affiliated University of Health Science, now NTR University of Science, Vijayawada.

Kakatiya Medical College admission for MBBS course is based on the basis of rank in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) or Intermediate Pass in Bi.P.C: NEET for medicals.P.G.NEET rank is required for PG and PG diploma courses.
