JIS School of Polytechnic is a leading Diploma Engineering college established in 2009 under the aegis of JIS Group Educational Initiatives. JISSP is a technical institution with the goal of producing result-oriented and qualified professionals to meet the ever-increasing demands of industries. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated with the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education. It is having a sprawling 5-acre campus which is located at Kalyani, 55 km north of Kolkata.

JIS School of Polytechnic’s vision is to lead and inspire the excellence of knowledge for the human society around the world and to penetrate the improvement with enthusiasm and to translate the imagination, goals, and ambition into reality. Their mission is to advance and improve the learning possibilities by promoting awareness, developing holistic knowledge acquisition through creativity, innovation, exposure, and engagement to create the human potential for self-enhancement and also for the cause of society. JIS School of Polytechnic’s admission process is online and based on guidelines issued by the Government of West Bengal. JISSP admission is based on a candidate's performance in the entrance exam. The JISSP admission process is entirely based on merit and eligibility criteria.

JIS School of Polytechnic Hostel Facilities

JIS School of Polytechnic provides separate boys & girls hostel available both outside and inside of the campus. For Girls total of 380 seats are available and for Boys 260 seats are available. All hostels are facilitated with Internet connectivity. The students are given quality meals. The Hostel Administration Committee governs all hostels. There is a separate Hostel Superintendent & Hostel Wardens to take care of the students.
