OmDayal Group of Institutions Eligibility Criteria

OmDayal Group of Institutions B.Tech Eligibility 

• The candidate should have passed 10+2 with 45% marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Computer Application from CBSE or equivalent board.
• Diploma holders in engineering are considered for Lateral Entry into the Second year admission.

OmDayal Group of Institutions B.Arch Eligibility 

• The candidate should have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics Chemistry & Mathematics and 50% marks in overall aggregate from CBSE or equivalent board.
• The candidate has also to secure and valid score in NATA 2023, JEE Main paper 2, 2022.
• Diploma holders in Architecture also are considered for admission, if secure a valid score in NATA 2023.

OmDayal Group of Institutions Infrastructure Facilities

The infrastructure of the college is well built to provide an environment for the students to focus on their studies. OmDayal Group of Institutions facilities includes a hostel, library, transport, computer centre, language lab, and sports facilities. 

Library

The college library was established in the year 2010. There are about 19,000 volumes and more than 60 journals and periodicals are subscribed. Also, the NPTEL facility to access video lectures and DELNET access for resource sharing is provided for the students. There is a digital library with 10 systems to access the E-Journals, E-books, and CD/DVDs.

Transport

The college bus covers various routes, Kolkata to college covering the entire Kolkata, part of Howrah, and south 24 Parganas which is about 60 km around. There are five buses provided for the students and the faculty.

Computer Centre

There are two laboratories with 60 computers that have an internet connection. The computers are accessible even after class. Also, there is an LCD projector in the computer centre. There are total 230 computers at the disposal of the students.

Language Lab

The language lab consists of user-friendly language learning software provided by Orell Technosystems (India) Pvt Ltd. Online aptitude exams such as IELTS and TOEFL are regularly conducted to train the students for national, international, and competitive examinations and GATE. Activities such as Oral presentation, GD, Role-playing, public speaking activities, and drama are conducted to enhance their speaking skills.

Hostel Details

OmDayal Group of Institutions Facilities provides comprehensive hostel facilities to the students. The hostel accommodation facilities are provided separately for girls and boys. The seats in the hostel are limited and allotted on a first-come-first-served basis. OmDayal Group of Institutions Facilities includes all the facilities like Transport, Computer Centre, Language Lab, etc.
