The hostels are well ventilated, aerated and furnished with tables, chairs, fans, fluorescent light, water cooler and solar hot water facility. Each hostel has a common hall for recreation and mess for boarding, run by an authorized contractor. At present total capacity of each of the hostel is inadequate to meet the demand . Extension work of boys’ hostel building is in progress to meet the demand. However, the completion of the extension building for boys’ hostel will take at least one year. The demand had been long anticipated in view of the number of new courses started by the NMU in the recent past.
