  • 4 hostel for girls and 2 for boys including international hostel are available at Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi and fee p/m is 4000.
  • There are PG's in outside available, their cost 5000- 1000.
  • The quality of Food is good in college and cost is ( 2000/m).
  • The quality of Classroom are well furnished electronic classrooms Labs and libraries are there for every department, Dining hall - separate dining halls for all the hostels.
  • Wifi- free unlimited wifi College is containing many canteens, atm, laundry, bank and other services inside it.

  • There are 5-7 hostels at Jamia Hamdard with a proper living condition.
  • The hostel fees are Rs. 30,000/- yearly including laundry.
  • The pGs outside campus costs economical for living but they are not guarded with timely food and security.
  • The quality of classrooms is excellent including wi-fi and proper surrounding.

  •  Canteen of our department is fine but if we consider whole university, then canteens are really good. Food is cheap and is of good quality.
  • Overall university is amazing but engineering building is just fine. Wifi facility is very good. It covers whole university.There is lot of greenery in college which give very good vibes.

  • There are 4 hostels in my campus. The hostels are not so good but the monthly charges are high with compare to other colleges hostels
  • PGs are good and one can easily find it outside the campus. It cost you around INR 6,000-7,500 per month
  • Food quality in college is not so good and it costs very much.
  • Infrastructure of classrooms are very poor and labs as well euipped, wifi charge is INR 2000/year but speed is very slow

  • There are separate hostels for both girls and boys. I don't know about the fees.
  • There are PGs available around college. The fees are Rs 4,000-10,000.
  • The quality of food is good inJamia Hamdard University, New Delhi. The cost per meal os Rs 50.

There are 3 hostels for girls including NRI hostel. And 1 for boys that are only for NRI boys. Hostel fee is much more than education fee. Food in the hostel is very good, 24*7 wifi facility is there.

Infrastructure Facilities at Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi:

Majeedia Hospital:

  • This hospital being a recognised hospital provides fall the modern and latest system of Unani medicine.
  • The hospital accommodates 150 patients.
  • In a year around 84,000 patients are being attended in the Out Patient Department.
  • The setting up of a six bedded well facilitated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) has been a landmark achievement.
  • The students, teachers and staffs are given free OPD service. Their family members are also included.

Hostel:

  • The University provides hostels for both the girls and the boys.
  • The rooms are very spacious and also very well furnished and maintained.
  • Annual hostel charges are payable in advance at the time of allotment. 
  • The rooms are neat and clean.
  • There is common room in each and every hostel.
  • Reading rooms, dining hall, visitors’ room are being provided for the users of the hostels (in terms of staying).
  • A brand new hostel for the girls was constructed that can accommodate around 125 students. The Islamic Development Bank extended its financial hand.

Sports Facility:

  • A Gymnasium has been constructed with the assistance of University Grants Commission and Hamdard National Foundation in 1999.
  • Besides, playgrounds for cricket/football, volleyball and badminton (both for girls and boys) are available.

Central Library:

  • The Hamdard University library is very much well equipped and there are six faculty libraries:
  • The central library of the university has been named as ‘Hakim Mohammed Said Central Library’. Hakim Mohammed Said Hakeem Abdul Hamid’s younger brother.
  • The library has over 1.46 lakh collections that include 1, 05,000 English, Hindi, Arabic, Urdu and Persian books.
  • There are 17,000 bound volumes. 20,000 rare collection and some 4500 manuscripts in Arabic, Urdu and Persian languages.
  • The library is receiving 200 Indian and international journals. Out these, 124 have been subscribed and the rest 76 free of charge.
