Jai Hind College Facilities

Jai Hind College, Mumbai, is spread over 1 acre of land. It ensures the development and welfare of students. The college is acknowledged for its campus and residential facilities. Some of the highlighting features of the Jai Hind College campus are listed below.

Library: The library has an extensive collection of about 52100 books and subscribes to 19 daily newspapers, 30 journals, 45 periodicals, and 57 free magazines. Encyclopedias, handbooks, dictionaries, atlases, and other reference materials are available at the Jai Hind College library. It has a large selection of novels in several languages and other light reading material to suit various interests. The library uses the Dewey decimal classification method to catalogue books.

Classrooms: The classrooms are furnished with digital boards for a better learning experience. 

Hostel: Jai Hind College hostel offers accommodation facilities for boys and girls. Facilities provided at the hostel are:

  • It has ac rooms.
  • The hostel rooms are equipped with a LAN connection to provide the computing needs of the students.
  • Facilities for making STD/ISD calls are available in each hostel.
  • The Jai Hind College also has accommodation for members of the management development programmes consisting of 116 working models and premium air-conditioned accommodation with attached bathroom, TV with cable connection, small refrigerator and internet connectivity.

There are no hostel and pgs. However, if you are an outstation student, living can be a little expensive. The canteen is very nominal and tasty.

There are no hostels. Since our college is in the town PGs are normally costly. Around Rs. 20 - 30k per month is the average cost per head
