Overview:

The institute has setup a dedicated placement cell for providing placements assistance to students in  the corporate and engineering sectors. The institute has consistently maintained an excellent  recruitment record. The graduates have been recruited by some of the leading corporations and  companies.

Better interaction between Technical institutions and industry is the need of the hour. This will have  great bearing on the Engineering Curriculum, exposure of industrial atmosphere to engineering  students and subsequent placement of young graduating engineers in industries across the country.

Industry Academic Collaboration:

Islamiah institute of technology has taken keen interest in this regard and the institute has focused on two areas

• By encouraging its faculties and students to participate in the national and international level workshops and conferences.

Our faculty has presented research papers in many National & International conferences. We have initiated activities to reach out industries for research collaboration.The institution is planning to join hands with many R&D organizations and universities for research, training and placements.

The institute is continuously arranging industrial visits, guest lectures, seminars, work shops, training classes and other programmes that benefit the students and society.
   
Pre-Placement Training:

Students are constantly motivated through counseling in order to boost their morale. Students are also informed and advised on the importance of maintaining good academic scores as these play a major role during recruitment. In fact the department, through a series of programmes and workshops, helps students improve their academic scores. Other seminars and workshops are organized by the HRD to provide relevant technical training.

A good academic score sheet and technical know-how is only one aspect of the recruitment process. Organizations today employ unique techniques during recruitment to ensure that those hired will meet its requirements. The HRD recognizes these techniques by interacting with the industry and prepares students for them.

It conducts group discussions and workshops on a series of recruitment techniques. Students are trained to develop their skills to handle interviews in the best manner possible. Mock tests have been made mandatory and other industry-relevant evaluation procedures are followed. In addition, the HRD helps students improve their communication and presentation skills.

Specific technical and non-technical pre-placement training equips students to handle interviews and recruitment processes, and emerge successful.
