• In House Merit Scholarship
• Linked Financial Assistance Scheme (Grant for Tuition Fee)
• Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Scheme

Pre-admission Merit Scholarship - The scholarship is worth up to INR 1,00,000, which is available purely based on academic merit (previous transcripts). Shortlisted candidates will be duly informed of their interview date well in advance.

In-House Merit Scholarships - IITM Janakpuri grants Merit Scholarships to students based on their academic performance in University examinations to recognise and promote outstanding academic performers. The IITM Janakpuri scholarship details are given below. 

Linked Financial Assistance Scheme (Grant for Tuition Fee)

Eligibility and Financial Assistance
Category - 1
1. Family Income: Beneficiary under National Food Security Scheme with Card Issued 
2. Academic: 60% or more marks in the qualifying exam. 
3. Financial Assistance: 100% (Tuition fee)

Category - 2
1. Family Income: Upto Rs. 2,50,000/- per annum 
2. Academic: 60% or more marks in the qualifying exam. 
3. Financial Assistance: 50% (Tuition fee)

Category - 3
1. Family Income: Above Rs. 2.50 lakhs and up to Rs.6.00 lakhs p.a. 
2. Academic: 60% or more marks in the qualifying exam. 
3. Financial Assistance: 25% (Tuition fee) Note: A relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks for SCs / STs - Income Certificate and Aadhaar No. is necessary.

Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Scheme

Eligibility Criteria

• Family Income should be up to Rs. 2,50,000/- per annum.
• Academic No failure in any of the subjects in any semester.
• An income Certificate and Aadhar no is necessary. 
• The student should not be admitted through Management Quota. 
• If a student is availing of any scholarship from any other sources, the amount being availed shall be deducted from the total financial assistance recommended under this scheme.

Financial Assistance

The maximum financial assistance limit will not be more than Rs. 50,000 in an Academic Session. However, in exceptional circumstances, the committee may recommend the grant of financial assistance exceeding Rs. 50,000.
