IIT Kharagpur MHRM is a two year, full-time masters program. Admission into the MHRM is based on the students meeting the essential eligibility criteria set by the college. The candidates must appear in the CAT exam to be considered. Shortlisted candidates are then called for a comprehensive selection process. The final selection is based on a combination of the CAT score, academic performance, and performance in the interview process.

For 2025, the CAT is expected to be held in November 2025 and the CAT 2025 result date is tentatively scheduled for the last week of December 2025 or the first week of January 2026

IIT Kharagpur MHRM Admission

Admission into the MHRM is based on the students meeting the eligibility criteria, CAT scores,academic profile, followed by PI (Personal Interview). Final admission to the MHRM program is offered on the basis of a collective score and the candidate's performance in the online PI process.

Application Procedure

IIT Kharagpur MHRM Scholarships

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship

These scholarships are awarded from the Institute funds. The Institute awards scholarships on the basis of merit-cum-means to all eligible students The rules and regulations of IIT Kharagpur merit scholarships are as follows –

• All students admitted to any of the courses offered by IIT Kharagpur, except the students belonging to SC and ST (who are eligible for Post Matric Scholarship of their respective State Governments), shall be eligible for the award of the Merit-Cum-Means (MCM) scholarship.
• These scholarships will be awarded to not more than 25% of the students admitted each year to the Undergraduate and Dual Degree courses of IIT Kharagpur.
• For subsequent renewals, the student’s performance in the two consecutive semesters of the preceding session, i.e. GPA, as updated after the supplementary/summer quarter examination, must not be lower than 7.00. Students will eligible for Merit-cum-Means (MCM) and other Institute Scholarships even if EAA is not completed.
• Apart from the above, IIT Kharagpur provides partial financial assistance to students enrolled in dual degree programmes and M.Sc programmes.
