IIM Ahmedabad MBA is a full-time two-year postgraduate, residential program offered to graduate students. IIM Ahmedabad accepts the CAT entrance exam for MBA admissions. Students must have the cut-off score declared by the college to be considered for admission.

CAT is conducted once every year. For international students, GMAT scores are considered for the admission procedure.

IIM Ahmedabad MBA Eligibility Criteria

IIM Ahmedabad MBA eligibility criteria include a bachelor's degree with a minimum grade point average of 50%. Students must have cleared CAT/GMAT and have a merit score to be selected for the next step of the admission process. 

Those students who are in their final year and have appeared for the final exam can also apply. However, the students must submit a letter from the Principal Dean or head of the educational institute stating that the student has secured 50% in their latest exams. Students would also be required to submit a certificate by the Principal stating that they fulfil all the requirements by the end of June of the admission year.

IIM Ahmedabad MBA Fees

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad offers an MBA for two years and has recently updated the course fees. The total IIM Ahmedabad MBA fees for 2023 is INR 24.61 Lakhs. This includes the tuition fees of 18.9 Lakhs. The total fees, however, do not include laptops, electricity and laundry charges, and travel expenses.

IIM Ahmedabad MBA Admission

IIM Ahmedabad MBA admission 2023 requires a merit score of CAT/GMAT. Students who fulfil the basic eligibility criteria and have valid CAT/GMAT scores are then placed on a selection list. These students are then called for an Analytical Writing Test and a personal interview. For the final list of students, the institute would consider past academic records too.

Application Procedure

IIM Ahmedabad MBA application procedure starts with filling out a form to appear for CAT. Students applying for admission to the MBA course must read the admission announcements and requirements in detail.

• Register for the CAT exam by heading to the CAT website.
• Eligible applicants must register on the IIM Ahmedabad official website.
• Once the CAT result is announced, IIM A will call the selected candidates for AWT and PI.
• For the shortlisting procedure, candidates must fill out a form and provide supporting documentation.
• Following PI, IIMA will announce the candidates who have been chosen and who must confirm their admission by sending information via registered mail.
