Placement quality stays strong.Finance & Trade roles are some of the top profiles in the country.Marketing & Sales profiles flood the campus during placement seasons. 2014-16 batch completed 100% final placement with 18.01lpa avg package, with 15 international offers.Ofcourse, this all possible with a robust alumni network. IIFT almuni are always ready to interact with students and provide necessary guidance in career path. 

Academics & Faculty : IIFT started as a trade school to develeop external trade affairs and after 50years, it evolved as a proper B school offering MBA in International Business.Now it has specializations in a number of domains as Finance, Marketing, Operations & Trade.The extended international exposure can be seen in each classroom teaching, discussion and totally in whole IIFT. There is trimester system in practise. Each trim may have 8-16 subjects depending on number of Majors & electives student interested in. IIFT offers most distinctive courses from varied domains as mentioned & academic classes of 2600hrs which is highest taken any Bschool into consideration. Both campuses (Delhi & Kolkata) witnesses same course structure. The faculty gives best of thier industrial knowledge clubbed with academic research they've involved in. This is one feature very rare elsewhere. One will enjoy the class room presentatons, case discussions and live example illustrations.

Fees & Scholarships : Course fee is of Rs.7,50,000 per year payable in 3 installments as & when trimester commences. Mess bill is Rs 4100 per month, payable at the end of each month. Different scholarships available to SC/ST/OBC students, though the number is less.  Education loans are freely availble. There'll be a loan-mela by most of the banks in the first week of joining and these loans are collateral-free(Loan structure & willingness to lend changes from bank to bank). No hassels indeed. This year, 80% of students taken loans at marginal interest rates from different banks. Even, banks will reimburse the first term fee,hostel,mess bills paid by you, if you apply for the same.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : IIFT offers a lot of programmes. Its flagship course is MBA in International Business which it offers in both campuses (Kolkata, Delhi) with same course rigour . Delhi campus is established long back. There are 3 hostels in general. OH (Old Hostel) & C9 where 1st year students stay , NH(New Hostel) where 2nd year students stay. Hostel fee will be Rs 57000 per year. Library & wifi facilities upto mark. There are number of options availble to dine out in the near-by. Kolkata campus constructed recently having the state-of-art facilities like centralized automatic AC,Library,Wifi, fully furnished classrooms,lounges, ponds in different corners. There are three wings in hostel. Central wing where 1st year students stay in 4 floors and west wing where 2nd year students stay. East wing is not yet into use.  

Clubs & Associations : There are a number of student bodies in campus to make the students engage in some kind of learning at each point. IMF (International Management Forum) , HMC (Hostel,Mess Committee) are the two student bodies works to ensure everything falls in place. IIFT has quite a good number of clubs like Capital - Finance & Investment club, Brandwagon - Marketing club, BLASH - Trade Club, Socrates - Strategy Management club, SCOPE - Supply Chain & Ops club , Systemix - IT & Technology club . There are many cells like Equity research cell , Koshish, Entrepreneurship-cell , Infra cell, Pharma Healthcare & Insurance (PHI) , African Business cell,Quizardy cell. These all brings different issues into student's notice and keep them up to date to perofrm well in competitions, business events.Each Campus (Kolkata, Delhi) manages their flagship management events as Vivaan, Quo-Vadis respectively. IIFT college life is one which can cherish for full life. Apart from academic discussions and early morning assignment submissions, an evening walk, late night dinner, night canteen coffee,TT-doubles, street cricket, unisex volleyball/basketball matches, famous paratha dhabas, charming confident faces all around. It feels so good that you are in this place. Completely worth staying in these lively campuses for good 19 months.
