Hindustan College of Science Technology was established in 1996. The HCST is affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, and has been approved by the India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

The college has been awarded an NAAC 'A' grade for its excellent facilities and outcome-based education(and stands at 2nd position in the NAAC score of A+ grade six colleges affiliated to AKTU).

Hindustan College of Science Technology offers courses in various branches of engineering, management & computer application including B.Tech programs in nine branches of engineering, a two-year M.B.A. course in management, and approved M.Tech programs.

Hindustan College of Science and Technology Admission

Hindustan College of Science and Technology admission is merit-based and entrance score. Candidates who desire to take admission to HCST must meet the eligibility criteria. 

HCST courses and eligibility are as follows:

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• 10+2 with Physics & Math and anyone out of Chem. / Biology  Subject with 50% marks.
• CUET and JEE score.

MBA Eligibility Criteria

• Graduation (Min. 3 Years) in any discipline with 50% marks.
• CAT and MAT score.

M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 60% in B. Tech from an AICTE-approved institution (relaxation for sponsored candidates) in a related domain.
• GATE percentile of 85%
