  • Eligibility for this Government Medical College of Akola is decided through NEET entrance exam. A candidate must have passed intermediate(10+2) in science stream with biology as a subject.
  • Age of candidate should be more than 16 years. A b.sc graduate in biology can also apply.
  • Entrance exam has three subjects biology, chemistry, physics so focus must be on them.
  • Cutoff varies for different categories. A general candidate can expect cutoff around 75-80%.
  • Selection and admission are through merit list depending upon candidate's performance in the exam.

  • The eligibility criteria for MBBS admissions in our college was to have physics, chemistry and biology as a compulsorily opted subject for eligibility of NEET entrance. 
  • The entrance examination we gave was NEET.
  • The typical cutoff for me being an open candidate was 50% or above.

  • The typical cutoffs for my college were 430 for OBC, 250 for SC, 450 for OPEN, 400 for NT.
