Government Engineering College, [GEC] Rajkot is a Government institution affiliated to Gujarat Technological University and recognized by AICTE, New Delhi, and the Government of Gujarat. For GEC Rajkot admissions, the candidate must have studied Physics, Maths, and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject from a single board. The admission is done through counseling based on the merit list prepared on the following criteria:
- For students of Gujarat State Board, out of the total, 60% weightage for 11th and 12th class score and 40% weightage of GUJCET.
- For students of any other state Board, out of the total, 60% weightage for 12th class score and 40% weightage of GUJCET.
