Government Dental College & Hospital, Mumbai has been named among the Top 3 colleges in the country by a survey done by the Outlook Magazines. It is the first college in the country to give the degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery which was recognized by the Dental Council of India. It is one of the oldest institutes in the country known for its comprehensive dental education and care.

The college was previously known as CEM Dental College and was housed in Sir J J group of hospitals, Byculla, Mumbai. Today it has an annual intake of 100 students for the undergraduate course and 12-15 students for the postgraduate courses. It is located right beside Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station and has a 3 story building.

The Government Dental College & Hospital, Mumbai Admissions are offered for Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Dental. They have highly respected and qualified staff who are very prominent and sought after Dentists today. The college has been constantly producing university toppers at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels for the past 5 years.
