Eligibility Criteria for Admission to B.Arch:

  • Candidates who seek admission to B.Arch must have cleared the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class 10+2) from the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, or equivalent, securing at least 50% aggregate with English and Mathematics as compulsory subjects (45% aggregate marks for candidates belong to SC/ST/OBC).
  • Candidates must be at least 17 years of age to be eligible to apply for B. Arch admission.
  • Candidates who possess 10+3 diploma in any stream from a central/state government recognised university with 50% aggregate marks are also eligible for admission to B.Arch course.
  • Candidates who possess IB Diploma (International Baccalaureate) after 10 years of schooling, with at least 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects are eligible to apply for admission to B.Arch.
  • Candidates seeking admission in B.Arch must clear NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture) - obtaining at least 80 out of 200 marks, to be eligible for admission to B.Arch.
  • Based on performance in NATA and aggregate of Mathematics and English marks, candidates will be given ranking from GCET (Goa Common Entrance Test) Cell which makes them eligible for admission.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to B.Pharm:

  • Candidates must be of Indian nationality to be eligible for admission to B.Pharm.
  • Candidates who have passed diploma in Pharmacy with at least 45% marks (40% aggregate marks for candidates belong to SC/ST/OBC) are eligible for admission to B.Pharm.
  • Candidates from Goa are given first preference to admissions. After Goa local candidates have been admitted, the remaining admissions will be given to deserving candidates from other states who satisfy the eligibility criteria.

Application Details for B.Arch Admission:

  • Candidates can find the B.Arch application form on the official website of Goa University. The form is to be downloaded and printed, duly filled in and submitted along with the application fee of Rs. 1500/- through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director of Technical Education, payable at Panaji, Goa from any nationalised bank.
  • Candidates seeking admission in B.Arch must have a valid score in G-CET 2020 and NATA.

Application Details for B.Pharm Admission:

  • Candidates can find the B.Pharm application form on the official website of Goa University. The form is to be downloaded and printed, duly filled in and submitted along with the application fee of Rs. 1000/- through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director of Technical Education, payable at Panaji, Goa, drawn from any nationalised bank.

Information for Applicants:

  • Incomplete application forms will be rejected and considered not eligible for admission.
  • Candidates will have to pay a late fine of Rs. 1000 with the application fees in case of application forms reaching beyond the scheduled last date.

Admission Procedure for B.Arch Course:

  • Selection of candidates is based on the merit list, including NATA score and the aggregate marks obtained in Mathematics and English at the qualifying examination(HSSC/Diploma).
  • If the NATA marks of two candidates are equal, the candidate with higher marks in Mathematics will be placed higher in the merit list.
  • If the above marks are also equal, then the candidate with an earlier date of birth will be placed higher in the merit list.

Reservations:

  • 15 seats are available for management quota candidates, 1 seat is reserved for J&K migrants.
  • 2% seats are reserved for the SC category candidates and 12% seats are reserved for the ST category candidates.
  • 27% seats are reserved for the OBC category candidates.

Admission Procedure for B.Pharm Course:

  • After checking eligibility, admissions are given on merit to highest performing candidates from Goa. After Goan local seats are finalised, remaining seats will be given to candidates from other states, provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria.
  • There are no reservations for admissions under B.Pharm course. All seats are considered as general.

  • Along with duly filled-in applications, the candidate must also submit the required application fee through demand draft (DD) drawn in favour of “Director of Technical Education” and payable at Panaji, Goa.
  • The applicants seeking admission at Goa University have to pay Rs.400/- to apply for any of the above mentioned PG programs. In case a candidate decides to apply for more than one PG programme, he/she has to pay additional Rs.100/- for each. In case of Entrance Test, wherever applicable, the candidates must pay an additional amount of Rs.300/-

  • In case if the marks in Biology are equal, then candidate with more marks in Chemistry shall be placed higher in the merit list.  
  • If all the above are also equal, then the applicant with earlier date of birth will be placed higher in the order of merit.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process
  • Goa University has 30 seats for the Masters course in Zoology. Around 15 seats are for the general category and the rest are reserved. 2 seats amongst these are reserved for students from other state universities.
  • After the undergraduate results are declared, the admission notice is introduced on the University website www.unigoa.ac.in. Applicants are required to fill in their details and submit the application forms online after which a merit list is prepared within a week or so. Minimum percentage for application is 50%. The cutoff for general category for the last two academic years was around 70%.
  • Usually, 2 or 3 merit lists are subsequently out depending on the number of seats filled. There is no entrance exam for the subject of Zoology and the merit list is purely based on the marks obtained in the undergraduate exam (semester 5 and 6).
