The Goa Institute of Management Scholarship 2024 is offered to students on the basis of their merit and academic excellence. Socio-economic, financial or health conditions like being physically disabled are also provided various GIM scholarships in order to help them pursue their academic degrees without any constraints. 

GIM includes scholarships for both the PGDM and FPM programs. More details about the GIM Goa scholarships are listed below.

Goa Institute of Management Scholarships

Goa Institute of Management rewards deserving students from various backgrounds and categories. Every year, students are offered these Goa Institute of Management scholarships based on their academic performances and other selection criteria.

ACCESS Scholarship

Goa Institute of Management scholarships are awarded to various categories of students to encourage and reward exemplary performances. This ACCESS scholarship is awarded to 45 students from PGDM and 21 students from PGDM-BDA, amounting to INR 5 lakhs each.

The scholarship guidelines include,

• The Goa Institute of Management Scholarship 2024 will be awarded to students who are admitted to the PGDM and PGDM-BDA courses.
• This merit scholarship is offered to students who take admission into the PDM course through the “Acheiver’s Round”.
• The scholarship is given in two instalments- 50% in the first year and the remaining 50% in the next year.
• Students need to maintain a minimum of 5.6 CGPA for the Goa Institute of Management scholarship to be continued next year.
• Students can opt for only one scholarship, even if they are eligible for more than one scholarship.
• Students must note that the decision to award and cancel the scholarship lies only with the Goa Institute of Management Scholarship Committee.

GIM-MBBS Scholarships

Goa Institute of Management motivates candidates with an MBBS degree to pursue management in Health Care Management, offering them scholarships and leadership roles. The GIM MBBS Scholarship is offered to 7 students, amounting to INR 5 Lakhs each. 

The scholarship guidelines include,

• The Goa Institute of Management Scholarship 2024 will be awarded to students who are admitted to the PGDM- Healthcare and Management course.
• Candidates with an MBBS degree from a recognised institute/ university are eligible to apply for this scholarship. 
• The scholarship is given in two instalments- 50% in the first year and the remaining 50% in the next year.
• Students need to maintain a minimum of 5 CGPA for the Goa Institute of Management scholarship to be continued next year.
• Students can opt for only one scholarship, even if they are eligible for more than one scholarship.
• Students must note that the decision to award and cancel the scholarship lies only with the Goa Institute of Management Scholarship Committee.

GIM PGDM-BIFS Scholarships

GIM Goa scholarships under the ACCESS scholarship are awarded to 7 students, amounting to INR 5 Lakhs each.

The scholarship guidelines include,

• The Goa Institute of Management Scholarship 2024 will be awarded to students who are admitted to the PGDM- BIFS course.
• Candidates with a CA/CS/AICWA/CFA degree prior to admission, from a recognised institute/ university are eligible to apply for this scholarship. 
• The scholarship is given in two instalments- 50% in the first year and the remaining 50% in the next year.
• Students need to maintain a minimum of 5.6 CGPA for the Goa Institute of Management scholarship to be continued next year.
• Students can opt for only one scholarship, even if they are eligible for more than one scholarship.
• Students must note that the decision to award and cancel the scholarship lies only with the Goa Institute of Management Scholarship Committee.

Goa Institute of Management FPM Scholarship

The GIM scholarships are offered to a selected few FPM scholars based on the institute’s eligibility criteria. The scholarship guidelines are mentioned below.

• The research scholars receive a stipend of INR 35,000 per month for the first and second year, INR 37,500 per month for the third year and then INR 40,000 per month for the fourth year.
• The scholars are also eligible for a contingency grant of INR 25,000 per annum for the entire duration of 4 years and INR 20,000 during the third year for Data Collection expenses.
• Goa Institute of Management scholarship includes participation support for the research scholars for conferences.
• Students are awarded maximum financial support of INR 30,000 for 2 National Conferences and INR 1,50,000 for a Foreign conference.

Goa Institute of Management Tuition-Fee Waiver Scheme

Deserving students belonging to the Economically Weaker Section of the society are offered a Tuition-Fee Waiver. The institute aims to provide equal educational opportunities to everyone, and thus, deserving students are selected for the same.

The eligibility criteria and documents required for this Goa Institute of Management scholarship are mentioned below.

• Students with a family income less than INR 8 LPA will be eligible for this scholarship.
• This Goa Institute of Management Scholarship 2024 will open its registrations after the admission process is concluded.
• Documents, including Income Tax Returns, salary slips, and any other Government-verified documents, are required.
• This scholarship is offered up to 5 per cent of the total student intake for that academic year.
• Students must note that the decision to award and cancel the scholarship lies only with the Goa Institute of Management Scholarship Committee.

Goa Institute of Management Funding From Banks

Other than Goa Institute of Management scholarships, the institute has tie-ups with different banking organisations and provides students with educational loans to help them fund their education. The loans act as financial aid, providing every student with equal education opportunities irrespective of their financial status.
