Placements & Internships : In the 3rd year, students take up internships which can be with a college or with a company or with a professor from the college. It needs to be sought out by the students themselves with assistance from faculty. This typically is for a duration of 2 months and a detailed report of the same is submitted and graded. Final Placements happen after the 3rd year. Mostly IT and tech companies come on campus. There are interview rounds and selections are made. List of companies attending the placements and the average package details are updated on the official DAIICT site, each year Since this is a relatively new college, the alumni network though present is not very strong. However, there is an alumni association that the students can be a part of and there are Gmail groups/ facebook groups with the alumni. There are several informal get -togethers that are organized.

Academics & Faculty : DAIICT offers 4 years of B.Tech program in Information and Communication Technology, as one of its courses. The course curriculum is a good mix of technical and humanities subjects. It includes classroom teaching, lab work. Each year has 2 semesters and each semester has 2 mid review tests and a final exam, each. The campus has a library which has all technical course books, reference books as well as leisure reading. There are subscriptions to various journals which can be accessed on the network The faculty are from renowned colleges across the world, they work on live projects and papers, simultaneously, along with teaching. 3rd/ 4th-year students often join the professors as TA and RA and assist in teaching or research work.

Fees & Scholarships : Student loans are easy to get and the best way to finance the education. Though TA/ RA jobs are offered, there is a basic stipend, if at all, and won't suffice to pay the fees.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The campus has a hostel, separate for boys and girls. Classrooms are in a separate building. Labs are in a separate building. There is a whole building dedicated to the library. It has an open air theatre, an auditorium, AV room, clubhouse. Sports facilities like gym, badminton courts, TT rooms, carrom rooms, football field, basketball field, cricket ground, etc. So overall, the campus is self-sufficient, with even a tuck shop, full fledged food court, dining hall. The campus is located in Gandhinagar, with easy access to the bigger city Ahmedabad. There are several autos outside the campus that take students to nearby markets, etc. Connectivity is good.

Clubs & Associations : There are annual tech and cultural fests, which happen every year, which are organized and carried out by the students. There are organizing committees for each event in each of the fests and students can chose to join these. Apart from these big events, there are several cultural clubs like book club, film club, debate club, etc that students can chose to join and contribute. Sports infrastructure is good which supports a good sports culture. There are basketball, football, cricket teams and inter batch tournaments that take place. TT and badminton tournaments are also organized.
