Infrastructure Facilities at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering, [DSCE] Coimbatore

Library : 

DSCE Library is housed on the ground floor of the main block of DSCE in a vast area of 461.84sq.m. The main aim of the DSCE library is to provide information services and access to print and e-resources to support the scholarly and informational needs of the institute community. The fully computerized library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of books, print and e-journals, CD-ROMs, on-line databases, audio-video cassettes, and project reports, etc. The seating capacity of the library is 150 users at a time. At the time of inception, we had 13,375 volumes and 85 National and 56 international journals.

Laboratories :

DSCE comprises of separate fully equipped Laboratories for all practical subjects of all the departments with updated machines and equipment.

Hostels :

Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering hostel offers a comfortable stay for the students within the campus during their course of study. The hostel is hygienic and comfortable, and each room is provided with adequate facilities to stay and study. The hostel has a visitors’ lounge, recreation hall, study hall, facilities for magazines reading and television.

• Mess facilities are available with a well-maintained dining hall inside the hostel. Vegetarian/ Non-Vegetarian meals are prepared hygienically and served aesthetically.
• Our hostel is an integral part of the college campus. It has two distinct sections for boys and girls students. All men and women residents of the hostel are provided rooms on a triple sharing basis. All common areas like dining, washrooms, lobby, terrace, etc. are provided separately for men and women’s hostels.
• The hostel has 24 hours of purified water for a hygienic drink and also hot water facility is available for the inmates. All these facilities make the hostel a home away from home.
