Phase-1

• The placement cell sends invitations to various companies/ organisations through E-Mail/ post.
• Companies/ organisations fill the annexure with complete details and send it back to the placement office of IIT Roorkee.
• Details of the annexure are then made available to students on the Placement Online portal.
• Pre-placement talk dates will be finalised after discussions between the company and the TPO.
• Students are notified about the date, and the company conducts its PPT on the notified date.

Phase-2

• The TPO allots a date to recruiters based on the ranking provided by students.
• Based on the convenience of the company, they can confirm or negotiate the dates with the placement cell.
• Interested students register for the company's selection process online by sending their resume. TPO then shares the resumes of interested students with companies for shortlisting.
• Recruiters then share the list of shortlisted candidates with the placement office prior to the campus selection date.

Phase-3

• Companies visit the campus on the given date to conduct the selection process. The selection process usually consists of a written technical/ aptitude test, group discussion, and personal interview.
• Companies can opt for an online selection process based on their convenience.
• Once the selection process is done, recruiters then share a final list of selected students with the placement cell.
