INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION

1) No hostel. 2) PG options in Kolkata is easily available. From about Rs3000/month. 3) Food in college is not available as there is no canteen. 4) The lab is kept clean and has everything a student needs. The library is very well furnished and up to the mark. No wifi.

Cultural Activities

Two major cultural functions, one, the NAVIN BARAN and other, the ANNUAL SOCIAL are organized by the Students’ Union. Moreover, the Students’ Union organizes cultural competitions in drama, recitation, debate, extempore speech, quiz etc. every year.
A grand cultural programme is arranged to celebrate the Foundation Day of the College. Students, Teachers and Staff are encouraged to participate in it. This programme includes music, dance and Drama. This Year a colourful programme has been arranged on the occasion of Rabindra Jayanti.

 

STUDENTS' MAGAZINE

Every year a Magazine - UNMESH - is published by the college under the supervision of Magazine Committee consisting of teachers, non-teaching employees and students representatives. It is a platform for students to express their views and thoughts th rough their writings.

STUDENTS' HEALTH CLINIC

Facilities of health check-up and health insurance for students/staff are available.

Student s' Health Home started its journey towards a healthy future for the students of West Bengal on the 2nd day of September 1952 and has now become a reality with its 69 local clinics and ultra-modern Polyclinics spread all over the state catering to the needs of more than twenty-two lakhs of students. Charuchandra College is proud to be a member of this Health Home which is of the students, for the students and run by the
students.
