Central Food Technological Research Institute PG Admission 2024

CFTRI eligibility is that the applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in science with a minimum aggregate of 48%. The selection process is based on the marks obtained in National-Level Entrance Examination (Objective type) conducted at Mysore.

Integrated M.Sc - Ph.D. Program is also known as Nutrition Biology which was sponsored by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, under AcSIR.

Integrated Program Eligibility Criteria

CFTRI eligibility is that the applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in science with qualifying marks. The selection process for Nutrition Biology is based on the marks scored in the CFTRI entrance exam followed by the interview.

CFTRI is open for candidates who secure a valid score in the entrance examination and meet the eligibility criteria. For the PG and PhD courses, the candidate must qualify the Entrance test conducted by CFTRI. The basic eligibility criteria for each course must be met. CFTRI admission process requires the interested applicant to fulfil the eligibility and selection process. This process begins in June of every year. The marks scored in Bachelor’s degree and Entrance test is given 50% weightage each.The selection is based on All India Merit with applicable reservation rules. For SC/ ST and students with physical disabilities, admission to the courses is followed as per government protocols. Candidates claiming reservation under a specific category is required to provide attested documents as proof in support of their claims. The college officials will prepare a merit list of the selected candidates and these candidates will be contacted by the college.Once the candidate is selected, he/she can pay the admission fee and enrol himself/ herself. During the last day of admission, the applicant must fill the application form and submit the request in person or through the website. Steps to apply for Central Food Technological Research Institute Admission

• Step 1: CFTRI application form will be available online and the completed application must be submitted on the official website. 
• Step 2: Before online submission of the application, the candidate must take a print-out of the same.
• Step 3: Applicants must check the eligibility criteria before applying, as the bank demand draft of Rs.500/- is non-refundable & non-transferable, which must be paid as the application fee.
• Step 4: The printout of the duly signed completed application in all respects with necessary supporting documents must be sent to the Director, CFTRI, Mysore-570 020 along with a Demand Draft for Rs.500/- drawn in favor of Director, CFTRI, Mysore. And the online payment of the application fee can be done through NEFT.
• Step 5: The Institute shall not be held responsible for any postal/ courier delay.
