Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Management & Research is the college that comes under 157 colleges of Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune. The Institute is established in 1992 and awarded an 'A' grade by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The applicants seeking admissions for postgraduate courses need to clear B-MAT and GD/ PI conducted by the Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. The aspirants seeking admissions for Ph.D. needs to clear all India entrance test conducted by the university. The candidates who have UGC/ CSIR, JRF or AICTE/ Teacher Fellowship or ICMR, DST, DBT fellowship, etc. will be exempted from appearing at the entrance examinations for the Ph.D. admissions.

The college provides in house hostel facilities for girls. There are two girls hostel building with an intake of 100 girls. The college does not provide hostel accommodation facilities for boys. The hostel seats are allotted based on a first-come-first-served basis. The hostel authority provides newspapers, magazines, intercom connections, and Cable T.V facilities in both the hostels.
