B.E.S. College of Education, Bangalore was established in 1971 managed under Bharath Education Society, Bangalore. The Society is also running various other Educational Institutions such as Nursery, Primary, High School, PUC, Degree, Pharmacy, Law College, Polytechnic and Diploma in Education. Bharath Education Society was founded under the guidance and leadership of Sri B.L.Lakke Gowda, who has rendered memorable and sterling contribution in the field of education and Co-operative Movement. The Institute's main objective was to provide teacher training programme to the students coming from socially and economically backward section of rural areas and enable them to come into the main stream of life.

With the main aim of giving good and best college to the students within Bangalore or outside Bangalore, this college named BES group of institution has become very popular in the Bangalore.
