Classrooms and Labs: The classrooms provide the most favourable environment for focused dialogues between students and faculty. Each classroom is equipped with training aids such as LCD projectors and Wi-Fi. The classrooms are air-conditioned and well-ventilated. These tools are used regularly by instructors and students to improve the overall efficacy of teaching and learning.

Computer Lab/ Language Lab

  • A computer application course is included in the curriculum. Two air-conditioned computer labs with fibre-based internet connections are available at the institute.
  • The Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology labs are equipped with the most up-to-date computers, with a student terminal ratio of 1:6. The computers are all connected via LAN. A licensed system and application software cover the entire syllabus.
  • A language lab is a dedicated computer lab with the newest computers and audio-mic facilities where students can access audio or audio-visual materials for language instruction. 

Front Office Lab: It aids in the training of students in guest reservation reception and billing. It increases the student's self-assurance and strengthens the critical ability to learn and create a service orientation in the hospitality industry. The emphasis is on developing face-to-face interactions with visitors. Telephonic and electronic systems also provide for a more effective and efficient guest-service provider interface.

Lab for Housekeeping: The purpose is to provide students with the latest cleaning equipment. 

Laundry Room: Students are trained in the laundry services of a five-star hotel using modern technology while maintaining a high degree of sanitation and hygiene in the workplace. It can be washed hot or cold and tumbled or spin-dried.

Bakery and Confectionery: Students are groomed into skilled bakers, confectionery artists, and pastry chefs.

Basic Kitchen Training: It is outfitted with cutting-edge kitchen appliances for giving first-year students private culinary practice. The course at BCIHMCT involves a fundamental understanding of basic cookery techniques.

Kitchen for Advanced Training: During the practical session, third-year students will be trained in a la carte preparations that will be served in the multi-cuisine restaurant. It has a combination of cooking ranges, ovens, grillers, and tandoors. Continental, Chinese, Japanese (Oriental), and Indian cuisines are all included in international cuisine.

Larder: The cold kitchen is equipped with a deep freezer and a walk-in cool room for butchery and salad preparation. Perishable provisions are hygienically preserved here, preserving the natural taste and texture of the food items, and so on.

Dining Hall: A big dining hall with adequate furniture and fixtures, a pantry, and a wash-up area is available to train second-year students for large-scale service.

Model Guest House: A model guest suite has been built for housekeeping training. The room is well-designed, emulating the atmosphere of a five-star hotel suite. It includes a hotel room with furniture, guest linens, and other amenities.

Kitchen Quantity Training: The kitchen is well equipped for bulk cooking practicals for second-year students. It is mostly utilised for large-scale banquets where bulk cooking is required.

Library

  • The e-library and e-journal library are the most valuable resources for students. In the library, you must preserve decorum and maintain complete stillness at all times.
  • The Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology library is the principal repository of learning and knowledge, with approximately 5000 carefully selected books, journals, and magazines in relevant fields and periodicals and journals providing necessary reference material for study.
  • A book bank at the Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology library provides each student with a set of standard textbooks covering all of the semester's disciplines.
