Audisankara College of Engineering for Women is committed to leadership in technical education by imparting quality technical instruction to the growing needs of the society with sharp focus on improved services . It was established in 2010, to provide an impetus to the women's development and empowerment .The college is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) affiliated to JNT University. The well equipped state-of-the-art laboratories in all of its disciplines is the testimony for the determination to provide quality education. Audisankara college of Engineering for Women hosts to a number of National Conferences and workshops every year . Hence, a wide choice of modern conference facilities have been meticulously planned and integrated in the campus . Every year, the institution pumps lakhs of rupees into acquiring newer instruments for its labs to be on par with its increasing student uptake and to keep abreast of emerging trends of applications. It also spreads a similar amount for its maintenance.

The college started with an intake of 360 students and three engineering branches (CSE, ECE, EEE). The college gained popularity as ASCEW. Eminent persons from industry, research laboratories and universities are invited to deliver the guest lecturers in recent technological developments in industry and research areas. All departments regularly conducts International, national conferences, Self supported and AICTE sponsored Staff Development Programmes and also conducts value added programmes are organized for students in the vacation period. Every department is having state-of-art laboratories consist of latest equipment to conduct the experiments, demo units and display units. Also, every branch has research laboratories at least in one or two specializations.
An Antiragging awareness meet was conducted on 22nd September, 2012 . Addressing the gathering the chief guest Mr .B.V.Ramana kumar , SP, Nellore called up on the students to desist from indulging in ragging activities which is a punishable offence under criminal justice system . Mr.Balavenkateswara rao DSP , Nellore advised the students to foster an friendly environment in the campus . Principal , HODs , Faculty and students of all Branches attended the event.
