Placement Cell at Assam University
The placement cell of the university extends counseling services to all placement aspirants. The placement cells in the various departments of the university are currently engaged in developing detailed employer's database that would help the students to trace out employment opportunities in India and abroad. Many companies had participated during the last couple of year's placement program.
Fellowship
Assam University provides AUS-UGC fellowship. Students are also encouraged to avail meritorious Students Fellowship. ICSSR Fellowship, JRF/SRF, INSPIRE Fellowship, CSIR etc. for general and MNAF for Minority M.Phil/Ph.D. scholars and Dr. D S Kothari Fellowship for Post Doctoral Scholars and Rajib Gandhi Fellowship for SC/ST scholars.
