The daily routine classes starts from 9 and ends at 4:30. The campus life is good. There are also part time facultites in the college to encourage students.


CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

There are student society, sports and cultural activities conducted in the campus. The college environment is really cool and enjoyable.

Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College for Women, Hyderabad was established in 1968.  The college is affiliated to Osmania University recognized by UGC. The vision of the college is to provide education which is enriching, challenging and innovative to the deprived sections of the society with special emphasis on adolescent girls to join the main stream not as beneficiaries or recipients but as participants in societal growth.
 
The primary missions of the college are to offer undergraduate and postgraduate programs with concern for values and women's development, to provide an environment, which nurtures inherent learning skills and to ensure committed leadership and continuous professional enrichment of staff within a participatory management process, developing the total personality and critical thinking.

Spread over an area of 5.16 acres, the college is situated on the campus of Osmania University.
 

Vision:

Facilities

  • For every class, a counselor is appointed to take care of the students, watch their academic progress and take remedial measures in case of slow learners.
  • The parent meetings are held 2 to 3 times in an year to discuss the progress and problems of the students.
  • All the students of first year undergraduate classes are provided with two months compulsory training in computer basics.
  • All the students of second year are provided six weeks training in communication skills in English, free of cost.

The Scholarship will be given (Rs. 5,000/-) to one student of l year intermediate and one student of the ll year
To the 1 year intermediate course the scholarship will be given to the student who secures the highest marks in the SSC Examination from Andhra Mahila Sabha High School. If the student who secured the Highest marks does not join in the Andhra Mahila Sabha College, the scholorship will be given to the student who secures the highest marks from among the student
