Close to 30 years of existence, AMC Engineering College needs help placing its students in the best companies. Some improvements can be seen in the areas of infrastructure. However, it has yet to nail its research facilities.

How Effective is the Course Curriculum?

AMC Engineering College offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs. The undergraduate courses offer a Bachelor of Engineering; for postgraduate studies, it offers a Master of Technology, Master of Computer Application, and Master of Business Administration. For research programs, it grants a Doctor of Philosophy. The college does not cater to a wide range of schools or departments.

The course structure aligns with the format prescribed by the AICTE. They provide standard theoretical knowledge. Unlike its contemporaries, AMC Engineering College has not incorporated any additional minor degrees or programs for advanced industry-oriented knowledge. Students have to rely on the textbook mostly for comprehension. 

The faculties at AMC Engineering College are qualified and helpful. They are warm and approachable and resolve the pupils' doubts. Though often, the faculty's teaching standards are questionable. Students are left with incomplete knowledge many times. This surely deters the students' enthusiasm.

The college also arranges frequent visits to industries, seminars, conferences, and guest lectures for its programs. AMC Engineering College does not charge exorbitant fees from its students. Compared to facilities given, the course fees are not expensive.

AMC Engineering College has meager research facilities. The laboratories need proper facilities and equipment. Only with a handful of equipment do the students have to research. AMC Engineering College has an insufficient infrastructure. Even though the classrooms are spacious and ergonomic, there is a lack of development in the lab facilities and various other educational fronts.

The college has a transport facility for both staff and students. It has two food courts or canteens that caters to both day scholars and hostellers. The campus has a round the clock security making it a safe and secure environment for the students.

AMC Engineering College has comfortable student accommodation for both boys and girls. At a time, the hostel can accommodate 500 boys and 200 girls. Mess facilities are available for the hostellers, where nutritious and hygienic food is served.

The quality of food provided by the mess is good and nutritious. The best part about staying in the hostel is the lifelong friendships one makes.

How is AMC Engineering College's Campus Life?

AMC Engineering College campus might not be as eventful as its counterparts, but it surely is enjoyable and vibrant. However, it should be noted that it has a less diverse student population. Each year, the college arranges its annual college fest, the Colosseum. It is an inter-collegiate fest that sees participation from various colleges.

Apart from the annual fest, AMC Engineering College also organizes various events on topics of major interest and concern, such as sustainability, cyber security, patent and copyright, recycling, metaverse, and more.

The AMC Engineering College administration implements no strict dress code or uniforms for the students. They are allowed to wear dresses of their choice. Furthermore, there are no unnecessary strict conduct rules and regulations that the students must abide by.

Is the Placement Worth it?

AMC Engineering College's placement scenario does not look lucrative. Only 75% of the students get placed. This number also dwindles many times. The highest package offered was 15 LPA, while the lowest was 3 LPA. Average compensation ranges between 5 - 6 LPA.
