The University is UGC approved and has NAAC-A accreditation. Ambedkar University, Delhi courses include B.Voc and BA programs. The University caters to the study of subjects related to Humanities and Social Sciences. Ambedkar University, Delhi admissions can be done online by visiting the official college website. Candidates are taken for admission on certain eligibility criteria required for the specific course. Candidate admission is done on a performance basis as per the entrance exam. The applicants have to appear for the Dr. Ambedkar University aptitude test of admission, the selected candidates will be called for interview. When admission is given to successful candidates, a post will be sent for their permanent address regarding their confirmation in admission, and a confirmation mail will be sent for the mentioned e-mail id.

The first cutoff for UG admissions was announced with a highest of 99% cutoff for Psyhology.

Hostels are the biggest part of the A.U.D they offer all the relevant facilities that are required for their students to make them more comfortable and satisfied. The resident has an option of single, dual and multiple sharing rooms, choices up to their own preference. The hostel facilities are provided only for girls with a total intake of 45 students. As per the decision of management authority, the hostels are managed by wardens of IGDTUW for an overall coordination/supervision of the hostel and welfare of the resident. The Dean Students Services of AUD heads the hostel management and takes care of the general welfare of the residents and also provides guidance to the warden regarding the smooth running of the Hostel related items.

The objective of the AUD Hostel:

• To ensure their students are giving adequate time for their ensure students.
• to develop some kind of extracurricular activities other than studies, and to make sure them to know in which field they are very much interested.
