The general academic requirements state that the candidate who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The selection of the candidates is made on the basis of the marks secured in KEAM. Candidates should qualify (a minimum of 10 marks each in Paper I and Paper II) in the Engineering Entrance Exam conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala(KEAM) and should be listed in KEAM Rank List.
There are so many student societies like MUN, NCC, SHUTTERBUG, CREDOX TALKIES, etc. There are very less or maybe main festivals that get held in the college. Life is good over here.
There are 2 hostels, one for boys and other for girls. The fee for a year is 20000 INR. The PGs cost around 4000 INR for a month including food. The mess fee come up to 4000 INR per month and it is of average quality. The infrastructure and all other facilities are at its best.
Class timings are from 9 am to 4:10 pm. The projects and assignments and exams are given within a gap of 2 weeks or so as the KTU syllabus says. The quality and methods of teaching are really good. The college lacks co-curricular activities but overall it is a good college.
The fee is INR 75000. And it varies according to the quota you have enrolled in. There are many scholarships which are provided for minority scholarship, academic excellence scholarship etc. Loans can be availed from almost any bank. An average of 100 students gets scholarships.
There is a wide range of companies that provide internships here as the college has a Startup Valley which comprises of almost 18 companies. The placements are really good out here. An average of INR 3 to 4 lakh salary is provided.
You need at least 75% marks Physics, Chem and Maths. I took the KEAM examination. Around 40000 ranks are taken into consideration for COMPUTER SCIENCE DEPARTMENT

Life in college is okay. But its strict,since guided by priests. Some people may feel difficult to cope up with that. I feel okay in Amal Jyothi College of Engineering.

Food in college is overpriced I must say,which lacks in quantity but higher in price.
Classrooms are equipped with projectors,and all Labs, Libraries, dining halls etc are star quality. Wi-Fi is free(included in fees) in Amal Jyothi College of Engineering.
9:00am - 4:10pm is the class timing,with a 1hour lunch break and two short breaks. Two Saturdays are working days in a month Amal Jyothi College of Engineering.
Quality and method of teaching are Excellent.
I'm satisfied with the college. The only thing is - the course is BTech and what it matters is self-study.
I have to pay near to 86,000 INR per year in Amal Jyothi College of Engineering. We have to pay the university exam fees as separate at the end of each same which cost around 800INR.
There are many scholarships available depending on the cast,income etc. No number,anyone can get a scholarship if they are eligible. Loans are needed since the fees amount is high.
