Alpine Institute of Aeronautics [AIA], Dehradun was established in 1994 and is running under the NIAE Educational Society. The college is affiliated with Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. It is a private institute and approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India. The college having 20 years of excellence in Education. It also conducts Weekly Seminars, Workshops and Regular Industrial Visits along with Guest lectures from Renowned Professionals to improve the skills of students.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or AME, offered by Alpine Institute of Aeronautics, is a program approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India. The responsibility of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is to maintain the aircraft which is fit for airworthy conditions so that the operation of aircraft in air/ground remains safe without incident/accidents.

• Candidates must have completed a 3 Years Engineering Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Diploma in Electronics and Communication/ Diploma in Electrical and Electronics, along with 10+2 with PCM and a minimum aggregate marks of 50%.
