Allahabad University B.Tech course offers two specialisations across disciplines: Computer Science Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. These courses are offered in different formats, and students can also opt for integrated courses with M.Tech or MBA or doctorate courses.

Admission to the Allahabad University B.Tech courses is based on the JEE Main scores. JEE Main counselling is done by JoSAA counselling post which the seats are allocated to students at Allahabad University. JEE Main Session 2 results were announced on April 28, 2023.

The Allahabad University B.Tech eligibility criteria require students to score an aggregate of 50% in compulsory PCM subjects in their 10+2 examination from a recognised board. The eligibility criteria differ for students who apply for different specialisations and courses.
