M.Ch [Master of Chirurgiae] Details

AIIMS M.Ch course offers two specializations for students. The course is offered in two formats. One is for three years, and the other is six years course. The three-year course is through INI-SS, and six years course is through INI-CET.

AIIMS M.Ch Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the M.Ch course are given below.

AIIMS M.Ch Admission 

Admission to the DM course is through the entrance exams conducted by AIIMS. The DM course offered is of 3 years or six years integrated. After clearing the entrance exam, students are required to appear for an interview.

Application Procedure 

Below are the steps for students to register for the entrance exams, INI-CET or INI-SS, for admission to the M.Ch course.

• Visit the AIIMS Exams website.
• Click on the exam notification.
• Fill in the required details to register themselves.
• Pay the application fees.
• Take a printout of the form for future purposes.

Once the admit cards are released, the information will be announced on the AIIMS website, and students can download the admit cards using their registration details.

Entrance Exams

AIIMS conducts two national entrance exams, INI-CET and INI-SS. Students who appear for INI-CET will pursue a six-year M.Ch course; the minimum education qualification is MBBS. However, for the students who would appear for INI-SS, the minimum education qualification is MD or DNB, and the course duration will be three years.

Documents Required

Students would require the following documents for admission purposes. All students must carry self-attested photocopies and the original documents with them.

• 10th & 12th Marksheet and certificates.
• Marksheet and certificate of qualifying exams.
• Aadhar card
• Passport Size photos
• Income certificates of parents
• Caste and category certificates, if applicable.
