Parul University hosted a distinguished delegation from Massey University, New Zealand, to promote international academic partnerships. This collaboration aims to enhance research, student exchange, and faculty mobility between the two institutions, reinforcing Parul University’s commitment to global education.
Massey University is renowned for its expertise in research-driven education, particularly in the fields of business, agriculture, humanities, and creative arts. It is ranked among the top 3% of universities worldwide, as per the QS World University Rankings. Parul University is recognized as one of India’s most dynamic multidisciplinary universities. During the visit, Massey University representatives Dr. Tere McGonagle-Daly, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Students and Global Engagement; Professor Giselle Byrnes, Provost Research; Mr. Joy Hotter, Director, Massey University College; Professor Oli Wilson, College of Creative Arts; Professor Mohan Dutta, College of Humanities and Social Sciences; Professor Gourab Sen Gupta, College of Sciences; Dr. Jeff Stangl, Massey Business School; Mr. Rob Stevens, General Manager, Global Partnerships; Ms. Puja Malik, Country Lead, Partnerships, and Recruitment; and Mr. Kshitij Garg, Managing Director, Estero Education Services engaged in interactive academic sessions, professional development workshops, and strategic discussions with Parul University’s leadership. The discussions focused on joint research initiatives, articulation pathways, and student and faculty exchange programs.
Paving the way for more students to benefit from global learning opportunities, Parul University and Massey University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the existing 2+2 articulation pathway in BBA and the 1+1 pathway in MBA, facilitated by Estero Education Services. As a key bridge between Indian and New Zealand universities, Estero Education Services has played a crucial role in improving academic partnerships that not only enhance educational relations but also strengthen diplomatic ties between the two nations. This partnership fosters learning and innovation between India and New Zealand, marking a significant milestone in international education. Parul University remains dedicated to expanding global collaborations that empower students and faculty with enriching cross-border learning experiences. There are only 8 public universities in NZ and Parul University has already partnered with 5 in several areas creating a wider pool of opportunities for the students in these fields.
