Parul University Cultural Scholarship

• Under the cultural scholarship, 10% of the seats are reserved for students who have showcased exemplary performances in co-curricular or sports activities in grade 12th or their schooling levels.
• Candidates who have represented their school or college in cultural activities at the state, national and international level and have won prizes (first, second, or third only) are admitted to the course programs of their choice up to 10% over and above the intake capacity under the quota.
• The Parul University Vadodara scholarship is awarded in the form of a tuition fee waiver.

Cultural Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for this scholarship are listed down below.

• This Parul University Scholarship 2024 is eligible for students who participate in the cultural fields of dancing, drama, music, painting, literature and sculpting.
• This scholarship applies to undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Engineering, Hotel Management, Architecture, Management, IT & Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Social Work, Law, Fine Arts, Library Science, Commerce, Design, and Arts.
• The scholarship is awarded to students who have won awards (first, second or third) or have won medals (gold/silver).

Cultural Scholarship Documents Required

The documents required for this scholarship are listed down below:

• The students need to submit the 1 minute WhatsApp video by the Mentoring Academy or the Private Tutor/Gurus and a recommendation letter.
• Candidates must submit the document proofs, like certificate awards won by the students in the cultural events. 
• In addition, the eligible students need 2 references of individuals in the same co-curricular activity. 

Parul University Sports Scholarship

Parul University Gujarat scholarships give equal importance to sports like academics. The university has seats reserved for students' exemplary performances in co-curricular or sports activities. 

• Candidates who have represented their school or college in cultural activities at the state, national and international levels and have won prizes (first, second, or third only) are admitted to the course programs of their choice. 
• The sports that are included for A, B+ and B category scholarships are- Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Cricket, Football, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Softball, Table-Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball, Yoga, Woodball and Tug-Of-War.

Sports Scholarship Guidelines 

The Parul University scholarship guidelines include:

• The Sports Scholarship can be revoked if students do not participate in AUI or Khelo India University games, do not participate in Zonal or National Inter-University sports events or do not maintain a 90% attendance in the Sports Training Camps.
• If a student is found positive in a doping test, they are immediately terminated from PU.
• This Parul University Scholarship 2024 is not extended if a student takes longer to pass than the stipulated time.
• In case of false information or incorrect bank details, the scholarship could be cancelled.
• The University Scholarship Committee reserves the right to award and cancel the scholarship at any given time.

Defence Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for students to be selected for the Parul University Defence scholarship are elucidated below:

• Officers or Soldiers in the Indian Defence Force are eligible for this scholarship.
• The services included are Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Indian Coastal Guard and Indian Army.
• Not only serving personnel, but retired Defence Personnel are also eligible for this PU scholarship.
• Students must note that this scholarship is available only to regular courses.

Defence Scholarship Documents Required

• For Serving Defence Personnel: Bona fide certificate from the Commanding Officer of the Unit currently posted to, along with the seal.
• For Ex-Defence Servicemen: Pension Pay Order, Discharge Book and a Copy of their ID card.
• For Students who are dependents on Defence Personnel: A Dependent card issued from the Unit Posted or Zila Sainik board is required.
• Officers on Study Leave: A Bona fide certificate from the respective Directorate of Education, Headquarters, Delhi is required to be submitted.

Defence Scholarship Guidelines 

The Parul University Vadodara scholarship guidelines include:

• For the scholarship to be awarded, students must submit authentic documents and certificates as required.
• Students must note that they will not be awarded two Parul University scholarships. If a student is eligible for more than one scholarship, then only one is chosen per the student's preference. 
• The scholarship is awarded as a tuition fee waiver and paid by the University for every semester.
• For continuation of the scholarship, students must not have any backlogs.
• This Parul University Scholarship 2024 is not extended if a student takes longer to pass than the stipulated time.
• The scholarship is offered to only 50 students and is rewarded on a first-come-first-served basis.
• In case of false information or incorrect bank details, the scholarship could be cancelled.
• The Parul University Vadodara Scholarship Committee reserves the right to award and cancel the scholarship at any given time.

Parul University Academic Merit Scholarships

Parul University scholarships are offered to students to reward students for their admirable performances in various All-India Entrance Examinations. Exams like GATE, PGCET, and GPAT are taken into consideration.

M.Tech Course Scholarship

Students are awarded various PU scholarships for taking admission in the M.Tech course. The eligibility criteria include students scoring more than the cutoff score in examinations like GATE and PGCET.

GATE Scholarship for M.Tech Course 

• This Parul University Scholarship 2024 will be awarded to students who have cleared their GATE examination and are admitted into the M.Tech course.
• The scholarship is awarded as a 50% tuition fee waiver for both 1st and 2nd years of the course.
• In addition, an assured AICTE stipend of INR 12,000 per month is awarded to the students.

PGCET Scholarship for M.Tech Course 

• This Parul University Vadodara Scholarship will be awarded to students who have cleared their PGCET examination and are admitted into the M.Tech course.

M.Pharm Course Scholarship

Parul University scholarships are offered when students are admitted to the M.Pharm course. The eligibility criteria include students scoring more than the cutoff score in examinations like GPAT and PGCET.

GPAT Scholarship for M.Pharm Course 

• This Parul University Scholarship 2024 will be awarded to students who have cleared their GATE examination and are admitted into the M.Pharm course.
• The scholarship is awarded as a 50% tuition fee waiver for both 1st and 2nd years of the course.

PGCET Scholarship for M.Pharm Course

• Parul University Pragati Scholarship

Parul University offers scholarships under this scheme and offers INR 30,000 or the tuition fee (whichever is less) to eligible students with a family income less than INR 6 LPA. In addition, students are also awarded an extra INR 20,000 if they stay in hotels.

• Parul University Scholarship for SC Students

The details of the scholarship offered for SC students by Parul University are displayed below:

• • The Maintenance allowance for Degree, Diploma and Master courses are INR 5500, 2300 and 12,000 respectively.
  • The Maintenance allowance for Diploma courses for students living in hostels is INR 6000 per annum.
  • Female students with a family income of more than INR 2.5 LPA are not eligible for tuition-fee concessions.

• Parul University Scholarship for ST Students

• • The Maintenance allowance for Degree, Diploma and Master courses are INR 5500, 2300 and 12,000 respectively.
  • The Maintenance allowance for Diploma courses for students living in hostels is INR 6000 per annum.
  • Students with family income less than INR 2.5 LPA are awarded INR 10,000 per annum as Food Bill Allowance in hostels.

• Parul University Scholarship for OBC Students

Students belonging to the OBC category with an annual income of INR 1 Lakh or less are eligible for this scholarship. An amount of INR 5500 per annum is awarded to the eligible students.

Students must note this scholarship is available only for MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Pharm, B.Tech and B.Pharm courses.

• Parul University Scholarship for NTDNT Students

Parul University offers students belonging to the backward Scheduled Tribe for post-matric courses. An amount of INR 50,000 is offered to students in the form of tuition fees which includes examination and maintenance fees.

Students with an annual income of INR 2 Lakhs or less are eligible for this Parul University scholarship. 

• Parul University Mukhiya Mantri Swavlamban Yojna

Parul University offers scholarships under this scheme and offers a 50% tuition-fee waiver to eligible students with a family income less than INR 4.5 LPA.

• Parul University Scholarship for Minority Religion

This Parul University Scholarship 2024 will be awarded to students who belong to minority religions including Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhs. An amount of INR 15,000 for Degree courses, INR 10,000 for Diploma courses and INR 20,000 for Master courses are awarded to the students.

Students must note that to be eligible for this scholarship, students must not have a family income of more than INR 2 LPA.

• Parul University Scholarship Scheme for Jammu-Kashmir Students

PU scholarships include a separate scholarship scheme for the students of Jammu and Kashmir. The Department of Higher Education awards this scholarship to eligible students with a family income less than INR 6 LPA.
