  • The candidates need to go to the website of CET for the application in the exam and fill the online form and upload the passport size photo and signature. This exam is conducted for the B.Tech courses.

  • After the exam application is over the candidates can download the admit card on the specified date and appear for the examination. When the exam results come out the candidates can apply for the courses directly on the college website and wait for the application confirmation and further instructions.

  • For the students applying for the polytechnic courses, they can directly apply for it in the college as there is no entrance test for the polytechnic courses and the selection is done through merit list based on the eligibility criteria. The application is done through the official website.

The minimum eligibility criteria are that the candidate should have done 10+2 from a recognized University with minimum specified marks in the eligibility criteria for the admission in 2019.

  • One need to qualify CET exam, held every year in the month of March-April.
  • As far as rank is concerned, one need to score a good rank in CET, to get their favourite branch and shift.
  • Well, I got 546 rank, in the (lateral entry) to b.tech programme.
  • And I choose I.T branch. 
  • This is the ideal rank for getting admission in MAIT.

  • Anyone who has passed his 12th standard and below 27 can fill up the admission form and appear in the Common Entrance test(CET).
  • The basic cutoff you can be admitted to various colleges affiliated to GGSIPU According to your rank scored in CET. If you are from Delhi you can have an upper hand on the students coming from out Delhi region as there is a special quota of 85% seats reserved for Delhi people. 
  • The cutoff is usually higher for outside Delhi region people. All the best to all of you out there if you are planning to appear for the CET.

  • To be eligible for admission into MAIT, affiliated to IPU, you need to clear Class 12 from Science stream with Mathematics as one of the subjects. After that, you have to apply for entrance test CET (code 131) , details on ipu.ac.in. The registration starts in the month of Nov or Dec. MAIT is one of the best colleges under IPU. So you need to get a rank under 1500 for CSE. For Delhi candidates, admission goes up to rank 10,000. For non-whites, admission close on 2500 or something .

  • The eligibility criteria at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, New Delhi are a 55% aggregate in class 12 and IPUCET.
  • Admission are done through IPUCET conducted each year around the month of June and July, and MAIT is one of the best colleges of IP University and to get into IPU you have to get under 10K rank (for general category).

  • The Admission is based on university entrance exam (IPU CET). MAIT ranks second among university colleges. Some minimum percentage of class 12th result is required to validify the entrance exam its I guess is 75%. For my course, you require scoring enough for rank below 2000 which is not that easy.
