RIMT has set up a comprehensive Training & Placement Department headed by Training & Placement Officer having rich experience in the industry, and has a proven record of industrial liaisoning and achievements in students’ placement. Role & Responsibilities: To provide a vital link between the students and prospective employers. To plan and organize career talks & personality development programmes. To develop & maintain close liaison with industry / organizations to facilitate placement of students. Industrial Training: Students are placed for practical training in various establishments according to their area of interest and specialization. Monitoring of training of students in different industries is conducted by faculty members of respective departments. Analysis of industrial training is carried out on the basis of evaluation report received from the industries, matter content and presentation of the training report submitted by the students and viva-voce conducted by the expert committee, constituted, (discipline wise),for the purpose.
Lecture Halls-Spacious, well ventilated and fully air conditioned lecture halls to create conducive environment for studies with uninterrupted power supply.Computer Centre-Their hi-tech computer labs comprise of Dual Core / Core 2 Duo Processor Technology workstations. The whole network runs on 10 IBM xSeries 3400 & IBM 3755 Servers which include Web Server, Mail Server, Proxy Server and File Server. CISCO Routers (2600 & 1800 Series) & CISCO Manageable Catalyst Switches of C500 Series provide the requisite communication. Speedy network connectivity and uninterrupted internet access of 4.5 Mbps.Labs & Workshops-Well equipped and spacious chemistry lab, physics lab, basic electrical and electronics engineering lab, EMI lab, EMM lab, MP-1, SOM lab, Software labs, Computer graphics lab, Instrumentation lab, Microprocessor lab, Linear Control System lab, EDC lab, Digital Electronics lab, Communication Skills lab, drawing hall and workshops have been developed as per AICTE norms.Transport-To make commuting easier and time saving, the college has developed its own transport facility from Patiala, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Ambala, Khanna, Sirhind, Mandi Gobindgarh, Samrala, Malerkotla, Fatehgarh Sahib, Nabha, Doraha, Mandi Ahmedgarh, Rara Sahib, Payal, Morinda, Sahnewal, Bija, Kurali, Machhiwara, Samana.Hostel-The hostel has always been an integral part of student life at RIMT. Main festivals are Munafa bazaar. College life is good. There is no club or societies in the college.College Infrastructure
There are 3 boys hostel and one girl's hostel with the facility like ac or fan. And you get good quality of food on the campus at a very reasonable price.

There are 2 hostels in the campus and the fees are INR 35000 per year. PGs are not available outside the campus. Classrooms are average and airy. Library is small.

Placements are not very good. Only some companies visit the campus and that too with very less package.Fees and Scholarship
The course fee is less as compared to other colleges that is INR 85000 per year. There are scholarships available at the college, maybe only for SC, OBC etc it is available.
